Authentication Modes¶
There are 3 available authentication methods for the JunctionRelay server application
These can be accessed from the settings menu in the navigation bar:
Inside the 'User Management' tab you can select your desired mode and press 'Confirm' to save your selection. The currently enabled mode is indicated with a green dot.
Authentication Modes¶
None¶
This mode leaves the WebUI accessible without users in your local network being required to enter a username or password.
Local Authentication¶
This mode will create a Local User, requiring a Username and Password to access the WebUI.
The first time you enable this mode, you will be prompted to create the Local User
Once created, you can change the Username/Password or remove the Local User in the UI:
Cloud Authentication¶
This mode integrates with Clerk.com to provide enterprise-class cloud-based authentication, granting you access to online features of JunctionRelay. You will be prompted to create an account upon selecting this mode:
Once logged in, you can manage your account, password, session etc from these buttons:
